Today’s hints and answer are available below the Clueffy game. The live puzzle selects its clues using the current UTC date. This guide explains how to use that help without revealing more than you want.
Choose how much help to reveal
The first optional hint gives a gentle nudge. The second provides a clearer connection. The third reveals the first letter of the answer. Each hint sits behind its own closed disclosure, so you can stop after one and return to the board.
Opening a hint during an unfinished daily round marks the result as assisted. The remaining guesses do not disappear. Your result and shared text retain the assisted label even if you close the hint again.
Reveal the answer only when you are ready
The answer uses a separate disclosure labelled Ready for the answer? Opening it shows the six-letter word and the complete set of clues. It also ends an unfinished daily round without a win. A finished daily result is not changed by viewing the answer later.
This guide does not print a dated answer that could become stale after midnight. Use the live daily answer section to see the word selected for the current UTC date.
Check the date before comparing answers
Clueffy resets at midnight UTC. A player whose local date has already changed may still be playing the previous UTC date’s puzzle. Compare the date shown beside the board and in the hints section before assuming that two answers disagree.
The daily puzzle is shared for each UTC date. Practice mode chooses a different puzzle from the rotating collection. The daily hints remain about the daily puzzle even when you are playing practice.
Use the board before opening another hint
Read the newest clue and review the colored letters. A green letter fixes a position. An orange letter belongs elsewhere. A dark duplicate can mean the answer has fewer copies of that letter than you guessed. Combining these constraints can be more useful than immediately revealing the next hint.
